A criminal defense investigator fulfills one of the most important roles on the
criminal defense team. The investigators job is to verify and validate all that
has been done by the investigating law enforcement agency. To accomplish
this, and accomplish it well the defense investigator must have a thorough
knowledge of police procedure and what the standards are.
With over 15 years of law enforcement experience Mr. Blake is thoroughly
familiar with law enforcement procedures and techniques. He is a graduate of
the FBI Criminal Investigations school, various forensic evidence schools,
interview and interrogation schools and is a NHTSA certified police DUI
Instructor, a certified Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) and certified motor
vehicle crash reconstructionist.
